You can mount these Basketball Backboards and Basketball Rims to an existing pole or wall with our 1044 or 9594 pole conversion kit found in our eBay store.
This is an entry level backboard and rim. The lexan is about 1/8" thick, but shatterproof due to the flex it provides. They are designed to be lightweight as customers commonly mount them to walls and roofs. These backboards are designed for residential home use and are not meant for commercial use such as playgrounds, churches, etc. (See our Mammoth basketball hoops for commercial, playground and church environments. Mammoth Backboards are thicker and generally institutional grade).
